Mesut Ozil

It has been reported that the expected move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil by Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan has caused rift and division at the club.

Mesut Ozil has been reported to be leaving the North London this winter window having fallen out with manager Unai Emery over his poor performance which has failed to improve.

It was claimed that the Spanish boss seeks the sale of the German international midfielder so as to be able to cash in on him to execute other transfer deals in this winter window.

With AC Milan reported to be interested, emerging reports from Italy claim that there is now a disagreement between former Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis and Paolo Maldini over whether to buy the former Real Madrid player or not.

It is reported that one of the parties is not convinced that Mesut Ozil will give in a quality performance owing to the huge weekly wage he will commit the team.

However, Mesut Ozil has made it clear that he is not willing to leave the club at the moment but will rather remain at the fight for his shirt.

Meanwhile, a starting role for Mesut Ozil is no longer guaranteed especially when it comes to big games.
