Mesut Ozil

Embattled Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League by former Arsenal player Charlie Nicholas.

The Arsenal legend thinks this is the best time for the team to part ways with the former Real Madrid star as he has got just little to give to the team.

According to him, Mesut Ozil does not fit the team and should have been the one leaving the club and not Wales international Aaron Ramsey at the end of the season.

Charlie Nicholas is of the opinion that the German international midfielder remains the highest paid player with a weekly wage of £350,000 but has been relegated to bench roles at the club.

However, speculations are that the Gunners boss Unai Emery is desperate to have the Mesut Ozil leave the club as he has failed to give performance equivalent to his weekly take home.

Meanwhile, the former Real Madrid star made it clear that he will not get himself disturbed about the various media speculations but will rather keep his head down to working hard until he achieves the best for himself.

Mesut Ozil has been inconsistent for his side ad most importantly; he has not been able to secure starting roles especially in important games.
