Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher insists there are lots of superb playmakers currently in the premier league, but believes Eden Hazard is the best.
Mesut Ozil has been impressive at Arsenal since he made the move to England from Real Madrid a few years back, and he even put up a stellar performance when his side won Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at the Emirates last weekend.
For Tottenham, the likes of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli have been superb in recent seasons, and the duo have caught the attention of many through their impressive performances.
At Manchester City, the likes of David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne keeps breaking opponents apart, while Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho has been impressive at his side since he was reinstated into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team.
Eden Hazard on his part missed the start of the season as a result of injuries, but is back to full fitness and has rediscovered his superb form at Chelsea.
Eden has scored eight goals in his last nine games for both club and country, and Liverpool legend Jamie believes the Belgian should be rated higher than other No. 10 in the premier league.
“Hazard remains the best No. 10 playing in England,” Carragher said.
Jamie’s former club hosts Hazard and the rest of the Chelsea squad at Anfield on Saturday for their next premier league game.
