Arsenal striker set to hand team strange Christmas gift

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud may have an unwanted Christmas gift this week with his representative due to hold discussions with the North London club.

According to a report by The Mirror, the France international forward will talk about his immediate future at the club after starting just an English Premier League match this campaign.

The Frenchman has seen a large number of his football come in the UEFA Europa League after the arrival of France internal striker Alexandre Lacazette in the summer.

The striker was strongly linked with a transfer to Everton all through the summer transfer window but a move did not materialize.

It’s yet to be known if or not Merseyside giant Everton will renew their interest with new boys Sam Allardyce now at the helm of affairs at Goodison Park.

The Everton boss wants more firepower in attack after a second consecutive 0-0 at West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day.

West London club West Ham have also been connected with a transfer for the forward who has battled with injury issues as well this campaign.

In 15 matches in the English Premier League this current campaign, Olivier Giroud has scored four goals after coming off the substitute bench 14 times.
