His form has been attracting the interests of several European heavyweights with reports claiming that clubs like Italian Serie A champions Juventus, Inter Milan as well as the London trio of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea want to sign the talented midfielder.
Nicolo Barella could be a direct replacement for experienced Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The Frenchman is the AS Monaco manager having been appointed in the last quarter of last year after Leonardo Jardim was dismissed due to his underwhelming start to this season while he was in charge.
Cesc Fabregas has been a wonderful player for the Blues since he joined the club from Barcelona in 2014.
