Jose Mourinho’s led United are thinking of selling Anthony Martial to La-liga giants Real Madrid or Barcelona. According to reports, the deal could be worth as huge as €60 Million.
Martial moved to United less than 2 years ago from Monaco for a record €36M, making him the most expensive teenager in football history.
The 20-year old striker played an important role in his debut campaign, scoring 17 goals and assisting Louis Van Gaal’s side win the FA cup.
Nevertheless, since Mourinho arrived Old Trafford, the Frenchman’s future at the club is now in doubt, and he was also dropped at last week’s premier league game against West Ham.
The Sun reported that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in the striker, and United won’t mind selling him if they will get around €60 Million.
Manchester United’s deal with Monaco included some bonuses that could see the deal eventually get to around €58M. So a straight €60M fee will sure be good business.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, obviously not pleased with the team’s present form, is moving to reinforce his team. Reports had emerged about his desire to sign in new players to strengthen the squad. He won’t mind letting go of a few other players presently playing for Manchester United.
