Ozan Kabak

It has been established that Arsenal will not have a free ride in the pursuit of Galatasaray defender Ozan Kabak, following reports in Turkey which claims the young lad is also being monitored by Italian giants Inter Milan

The 18-year-old became a major part of the team after he was seen last season by Fatih Terim in a game he played just a few minutes but gave an impressive performance.

Reports according to Turkish newspaper Sabah, as reported by Talksport.com, say the North London club are already in battle with the San Siro side for the 18-year-old with both teams working hard to have his signature in the January transfer window which reopens in coming.

Kabak is reported to have a release clause of £6.6million in his current contract at Galatasaray but with the latest interests from top European clubs, suggestions are that his suitors will have to pay within the sum of £35 million for his signature.

However, it is not sure if Galatasaray will allow the youngster leave the club in the nearest future as they wish to tie him down with a new deal that will have him remain at the club for another five years of his career.

Meanwhile, suggestions are that Gunners boss Unai Emery will jump at any opportunity to have a new addition that will help improve his squad ahead of the second half of the season.
