After kicking off the season with an unimpressive campaign, it seems Mourinho-led Manchester United are now getting back their tempo considering their performances in recent matches.
Even while they seem to be getting a balanced feet now, it appears coach Jose Mourinho still doesn’t see the present team as a successful one yet. Therefore, it is expected that United would participate actively in the upcoming transfer windows next month.
The Daily Mirror reported that one potential summer signing on United’s list could be Danny Rose. It was also stated that other teams like Manchester City are also thought to be interested in the Tottenham left-back.
According to some opinions, one factor that could determine the team Rose would decide sticking with next season is the Champions League. However, it is believed that the red devils may be able to strengthen their bargaining position by allowing the £27m-rated Luke Shaw to move in the opposite direction.
Actually, over the course of their Premier League careers to date, there has been little to separate the two England internationals defensively, with minute per goal against averages of 71 and 72 respectively.
Nevertheless, if we should consider their participation upfront, 26-year old Rose is better than Shaw in that regard. Therefore, if Rose should find himself in Old Trafford next season, he should contribute something positively to the team.
