Last summer, Belgian star Radja Nainggolan was linked with a move to Chelsea as the Stamford Bridge club were reportedly in talks with him about a move to the club.
The move failed to materialise and he decided to stay in the Serie A club instead. But it seems Chelsea can get him now as his Italian club – AS Roma, has reportedly told him he can leave the club if he desires.
Reports coming from Italy states that Roma inform Radja that he can leave, therefore giving a huge boost to Chelsea’s hopes of signing him.
Last month, the midfielder revealed to Sky Sports News that he had a discussion with the Chelsea manager Conte and that the west London club were really interested in him and wanted him over there at the club.
Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on signing the £35 million-rated star player and an Italian news outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport, insists that Roma is willing to sell Nainggolan come summer.
Chelsea are on the way to grabbing a ticket for next season’s Champions League and the manager is expected to be given around £150million to invest in his squad. So, the blues won’t have any problem meeting his asking price.
Conte is also looking to sign a centre-back and a classic centre forward to probably replace Diego Costa who is expected to leave at the summer transfer window.
