Liverpool star player Emre Can has been linked with a move away from the club in recent times and has emerged as a target for Serie A champions Juventus.
Juve have been after the German midfielder for some time now, and it appears he is destined to play in Turin next season following reports that Juve have agreed personal terms with Can.
Can’s contract at Liverpool is getting expired next summer and the Germany international is still stalling on agreeing a contract extension at the club. However, the club remained hopeful that the player will agree on a new deal with them after their German manager Jurgen Klopp persuades his countryman to stay at Anfield.
Juventus are understood to be taking advantage of the situation and according to reports, are set to submit a bid in the region of £27-31.5m this week in order to test the reds resolve.
However, considering that Emre has been one of the key members in the Liverpool squad, it is very unlikely that they will sell him. And even if they should sell him, his worth is much more than what the Italian champions are offering.
But many Liverpool fans won’t want him to leave as he is the club’s best central midfielder right now.
