Medical booked! 26-year-old expected to sign for Liverpool in the coming days

Liverpool fans believe Stoke City star Xherdan Shaqiri will complete a move to Anfield in the coming days following Switzerland’s World Cup exit on Tuesday in the round of 16 by Sweden.

Fans want attacker at Anfield
The European Nation may have just been eliminated from the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia, but Red supporters want club target Xherdan Shaqiri to join the Merseyside giants as soon as possible.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a transfer for the Stoke attacker, who is expected to be available on a reduced price thanks to a £12m relegation release clause included in his existing contract.

Fantastic performer
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder that shone like million stars for his National team at the World cup has been an outstanding servant to Stoke City during the last three seasons, finding the net on 15 occasions in the Premier League and providing the same figure, while he was, without doubt, one of their best performers last-season, despite their relegation to the English Championship.

And upon his exit of his country from the global showpiece at the hands of fellow European Nation Sweden in Russia, Liverpool fans across the world were already plotting the player’s journey back home and medical ahead of signing the dotted lines at Anfield Stadium.

You can see what supporters on Twitter had to say about Shaqiri and his possible move below.
