France international Anthony Martial has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent times.
According to new reports, the Old Trafford club will demand some whopping £100 Million before they can allow him to leave their side this summer.
Last week, Martial’s agent made it known the Frenchman is ready to leave Manchester United after it appears he has crept into Jose Mourinho’s bad books at the Theater of Dreams.
A host of top European clubs have been monitoring his situation at Old Trafford in recent times, and the talented player has been linked with the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Juventus, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
The Sun are reporting that the red devils are trying to avoid selling him to a domestic rival and have slapped £100million on him.
Martial joined Manchester United from Monaco in 2015 for an initial £36M and has endured some difficult moments under current manager Jose Mourinho.
The France international was able to settle quickly to life at Old Trafford under former manager Louis Van Gaal – where he scored 17 times in his first term at the club. However, he keeps struggling for consistency under Mourinho and it appears the Portuguese don’t want him around anymore.
However, it is unlikely any side will splash £100m on a player like Martial, and we shouldn’t be surprised seeing United lower the price anytime soon.
