Chelsea are short of attacking diversity and options presently with only four recognised attacking players in Antonio Conte’s team and this will be a department the reigning Premier League champions address in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea heavily linked
A wide man should be the Blues’ top priority and recently they have been linked heavily with a big-cash transfer for FC Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele who hasn’t had a good debut La Liga season.
Shortly after sealing a transfer from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund to the Catalanc side which could be valued for a potential £130million, the youngster suffered a major hamstring problem which kept him out of action for more than three months.
Since his return to the starting lineup, the forward has continued to battle with muscular issues, playing only nine matches for the Spanish side so far without finding the net.
Forward wants out
Keen on getting his playing career back on track, Dembele, 20, would like to leave the Catalan side on loan next campaign and has informed the side that Chelsea is his favoured destination, as per El Gol Digital.
The report suggests that the La Liga side would be demanding a record loan transfer fee of £13million to send the Frenchman away for a year. Having spent about £142million on Brazil international Philippe Coutinho last month.
