Daniele Rugani

Arsenal are still 19 points behind league leaders Manchester City in the premier league, and it will be a miracle to catch up with Pep Guardiola’s side before the end of this season.

Arsene Wenger should focus on finishing in the top four and should take advantage of the upcoming January transfer window to reinforce his team to clinch a Champions League ticket for next season.

Arsenal have been linked with a handful of top players. A few hours ago, there were widespread speculations that the North Londoners are ready to make a move for PSV’s Hirving Lozano.

Wenger is expected to sign a new defender next year since Per Mertesacker will be hanging his boots at the end of the campaign, and Daniele Rugani has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

There are reports the Gunners are set to splash €40 Million on Rugani despite that he has mainly warmed the bench at his club this season so far.

The 23-year-old has played just ten Serie A games for Juventus this season and has scored a goal with an assist.

The report also revealed that Daniele favours the idea of moving to England to play in the premier league, and that Manchester United are also keeping tabs on his situation at his current side.
