Liverpool, Spurs eye 21-year-old star player

Tottenham and Liverpool transfer target Ruben Neves has no plan of leaving newly promoted side Wolves in the summer window.

Club record transfer raise eyebrows

The 21-year-old, joined from Porto for £15.8million last summer transfer window and his club record transfer fee raised a couple of eyebrows.

But the wonderkid has been brilliant for the Championship winners and helped them secure promotion back to the English Premier League, gaining a spot in the PFA Championship team of the season.

The youngster, who has represented Portugal five times, has scored six goals from a defensive midfield role as his side stormed the league.

Liverpool and Spurs keen

Lisbon-based journalist Marcus Alves earlier this month suggested that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is working towards completing a deal for Neves. While the British publication Mirror has suggested Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of the starlet and sees him a possible replacement for Dembele.

The youngster though, who is under a deal until the summer of 2022 and Neves, has no plan of leaving the club anytime soon.

Neves during the EFL Awards said he honestly love to play at his current side because he loves his teammates and the club fans. He confessed he is really happy at the club.
