Premier League giants Manchester United could be set to lose Argentina international Marcos Rojo to French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-German with the defender yet to pen a new contract at Old Trafford.
Rojo set to leave
According to a report by the Mirror, Rojo may be permitted to leave for the Ligue 1 club for a transfer deal in the region of around £30million with the South American yet to pen a deal extension on his current contract which expires in the next one and the half year.
The Sun has claimed that United manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be very angry considering the news that he could be permitted to leave the Manchester club given the side’s poor defensive depth.
Top class defender
Marcos Rojo has surely sealed himself as one of Manchester United’s most important defenders recently under manager Jose Mourinho and has been severely missed when out injured.
The defender has made only seven matches in the English Premier League this term and his absence from the squad has been noted with other defenders failing to impress on the pitch of play.
Just yesterday Red Devil’s legend Paul Scholes heavily slammed England defender Chris Smalling’s recent displays as absolutely unacceptable, as reported by the Metro.
