Liverpool are allegedly edging ever closer to completing the move of Thomas Lemar and speculated Manchester United transfer target Thomas Lemar, as per sources in France.

The Merseysider’s have been linked strongly with the French ace for some time now, with the attacker establishing himself as one of the top youngsters in Europe in the last year or so.

The 22-year-old played a key role in Monaco’s French Ligue 1 title victory last term, which then saw him heavily linked with a number of elite sides the following summer window, though he did not follow the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Kylian Mbappe, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy in leaving the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

Liverpool making progress
