According to new reports circulating in the media, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are ready to snatch Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United’s grips this January.
The Chilean international has refused to put pen on paper for a new deal with Arsenal to extend his stay at the club, and he is ready to leave North London this month – or Arsene Wenger could lose him for nothing at the end of this season.
The North Londoners are said to have admitted defeat in their efforts of keeping the former Barcelona player with them, and he has been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent times.
Arsenal are ready to sell him this month, but they need up to £35 million for the star player’s signature.
Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho are both interested in signing the talented player, and the duo are set to lock horns just to get Alexis.
However, there are new reports that Liverpool are also eyeing the player and are targeting a move for him.
It was made known that manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in bringing Sanchez down to Merseyside and has been discussing with the management about a move for the player.
However, it is unlikely the Anfield club can match the wages on offer from United and City. Manchester United are ready to offer him a deal worth over £300,000 a week, while their neighbours are set to pay him £285,000 each week.
