Liverpool Eyeing Move For In-form Striker

Premier League leaders Liverpool are reportedly plotting a move for one of the most in-form strikers on the European football scene.

The Reds are said to be on the trail of Red Bull Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur.
This is according to the report from Sam McGuire of Football Whispers.

It was revealed that Liverpool’s head of scout Barry Hunter has travelled to Austria on several occasions to run the rule over the Israeli international star who has netted three goals in 12 appearances for his country.

Munas Dabbur is one of the lethal strikers in Europe.

The 26-year-old scored 22 goals in 32 games for Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in all competitions last season.

His form was crucial for Red Bull Salzburg as they emerged as the Austrian Bundesliga champions in addition to reaching the semifinals of the Europa League in the last campaign.

Doubts were raised on whether he could replicate the same output this term and he has done just that following the return of 16 goals and 6 assists in all competitions this season.

In total, he has scored 32 goals in 62 league games for the Austrians.

Liverpool have doubts over the future of striking trio Daniel Sturridge, Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi and the aforementioned Dabbur could be a suitable replacement for any of the Liverpool strikers.
