Anderlecht star player Leander Dendoncker was one of the players linked with a move to Manchester United during the past summer transfer window, and the talented player has sent a message to Jose Mourinho that he won’t hesitate coming over to Old Trafford if his services are needed there.
Dendoncker has made 126 appearances for the Belgian side since his debut back in 2013, but he appeared ready to make a move away from the club.
The 22-year-old’s impressive performances has caught the attention of various top European clubs, and there were speculations that even French side PSG are also interested in him.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho expressed a strong interest in him ahead of the 2017/18 season, with the Portuguese keen on bringing in a defensive midfielder to his team before the start of the season.
United instead brought Nemanja Matic from Stamford Bridge for a fee of £40million before the transfer window was slammed shut.
And when recently asked about the English club’s pursuit in the summer, Leander told Sport/Foot [via Mirror] that if Jose Mourinho wanted him at all cost, he would already be right there at Old Trafford.
‘When [a player] play for Anderlecht and [he] have the chance to go [Man United], [he won’t] hesitate.’ he said
It was also added that Anderlecht will sell the Belgium international if anyone can pay something in the region of £34 Million for him.
