North London side Arsenal will begin preparation for life after Reece Watson announces his exit from the club ahead of the winter window.

Reece Watson is Gunners longest-serving members of the staff according to Daily Express having been at the Emirates Stadium since 2006 as a groundsman before his promotion to head groundsman.

He is one of the closest allies of former manager Arsene Wenger who understands the Frenchman’s demands of what a good pitch should look like so as to be able to execute his fine and slick playing style.

However, he has now made it known that he will be drawing the curtains for the Arsenal job in February next year after 13 years stay for another level of his life.

Reece Watson hinted that he will be starting up a new innovation company of his that he expects to have a great impact in the football industry.

However, he thanked the club for the opportunity that has been given to him to work and he hoped that the club can move on to become better with the latest restructuring that has happened over time especially with the departure of the former manager and CEO Ivan Gazidis.
