Klopp Take Steps To Solve Defensive Dillema By Signing This Defender

Liverpool dominated Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night but could only earn a point from the premier league game.

Klopp’s attackers were superb as usual, and the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Phillipe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino all fought hard to score 3 goals in London – but Liverpool’s bad defense cost them the chance to get all three points from the game.

Klopp needs to take advantage of the upcoming January transfer window to reinforce his defense department by signing at least one defender next month.

It is obvious he can no longer catch up with Manchester City for the premier league title, but his shaky back line could still cost him a place in the top four.

As far as Liverpool’s transfers are concerned, the Merseyside club are linked with a talented defender in the person of Manuel Akanji.

The Independent made it known that the Anfield club are ready to battle Borussia Dortmund for the player’s signature, and they are ready to wait till next summer to sign him.

Although Liverpool would love signing him next month, the report added that Basel are keen on keeping him with them till the end of this season, and Liverpool are ready to wait till next summer to get his signature.

The 22-year-old has been impressive at Basel this season so far, and he will definitely help strengthen Klopp’s back line.
