Newly promoted Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are planning a raid on fellow top-flight side, Liverpool, when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The report from the Daily Mirror claims that the Reds could be set to lose striker Divock Origi to Wolves during the upcoming transfer window.
The Midlands club had earlier made a move for the Belgian international striker in the summer but the move didn’t materialise.
Wolves have been linked with a £20m swoop for him when the transfer window reopens.
Club manager Nuno Santo is desperately in need of a consistent goalscorer as well as competition for first choice striker Raul Jimenez who has scored just three goals in 12 Premier League matches in the new season.
Wolves are one of the lowest scorers in the entire division.
Divock Origi is on the fringes of the first team at Liverpool and has publicly talked about his lack of opportunities at the club.
He has made just one appearance for Liverpool since the start of the season and it was a second half substitute in the surprising 2-0 loss at the home of Red Star Belgrade.
Divock Origi has already spent two separate loan spells out of the club (Lille and VFL Wolfsburg) since he signed for the Reds.
