Juventus Make First Move To Sign Chelsea Target

Italian Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly made the first move in the race for Sporting Braga FC of Portugal attacker Trincao ahead of the winter transfer window scheduled to begin in two weeks time.

Italian media portal Calciomercato claim that Juventus have already opened talks with the agent of the young striker.
Super Agent Jorge Mendes is the agent of the 18-year-old forward.

The report stated that Juventus have opened talked with Portuguese Super Agent Mendes in the quest to sign Trincao.

2012 European champions Chelsea had earlier sent scouts to run the rule over the player but the Italians had also been scouting him.

The Blues will have to intensify their efforts if they want to beat Juventus to his signature.

Trincao and Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo share the same agent and that could work in the favor of the Old Lady.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo signed for the Italians in the summer after Juventus agreed on a club record fee of around £105m with Champions League holders Real Madrid for his services.

Ronaldo had won four Champions League titles and two league titles during his nine-year spell with the Los Merengues.

He went on to sign a four-year contract at Juventus and the Portuguese was assigned the iconic no.7 jersey.
