According to reports, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to carry out a shakeup to his defense after his side’s disappointing performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were able to score four times to get all three points from the meeting and are now level with Manchester United on the third spot of the premier league table.

Liverpool lost their opportunity at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday, with Jurgen substituting Dejan Lovren after just half an hour when they have conceded two goals already.

And the Mirror made it known that Dejan won’t be part of the starting XI that will play Huddersfield in their next premier league game this weekend.

It was added that the German boss will instead look to give other youngsters a chance, and Joe Gomez is named as the one likely to be considered for the place of Lovren.

Joe has been sharing the right-back spot with Trent Alexander-Arnold for some time now, and since Nathaniel Clyne is yet to come back from his injury, Gomez is expected to come back into the starting eleven against Huddersfield.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet was also blamed for the 4-1 defeat after his miscalculated gestures that led to the first goal, and it was said that Jurgen is looking at giving Karius an extended run to see if he can become the consistence Number 1 shot-stopper at the club.
