Augsburg star player Philipp Max has caught the attention of some big European clubs following his impressive performances at the club in recent times.
According to reports, the premier league duo of Manchester United and Chelsea sent officials to watch him play for his side during the weekend.
The red devils and the blues become the latest English clubs showing an interest in the defender.
Max is being compared to Man United’s Luke Shaw, and he has also been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
It was made known that the Toffees have watched him in recent weeks, as well as Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
And it is suggested the scouts sent by Chelsea and Man United were impressed with the 24-year-old, who was superb for his side during their 1-1 tie with Hertha Berlin on Sunday night.
Phillip is now working towards becoming part of the party that will represent Germany at the World Cup in Russia next year – which shows how talented he is.
In 15 top flight games for Augsburg, Max scored a goal and provided seven assists to his teammates.
