Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unhappy with his players after their display against Arsenal in the Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Mainz 05 expressed his displeasure during his post-match reaction to the 1-1 draw with the Gunners in their Matchweek 11 league clash.
Klopp revealed that he was not happy with his side’s defending especially in the first half.
The German tactician went on to rue the Reds’ wastefulness in front of goal as he added that star defender Virgil Van Dijk would have scored the chances he had with his eyes open on another day.
The Liverpool manager also manager also complained about the first half goal illegitimately chalked off for offside.
The Reds thought they had taken a first-half lead through Sadio Mane only for the assistant referee to rule him out for offside when he was actually onside.
Liverpool went on to take the lead through a James Milner effort just after the hour mark but the home side came back into the game and deservedly got a share of the spoils with the equaliser from French international striker Alexandre Lacazette off an assist from Arsenal substitute Alex Iwobi.
