African countries Kenya and Ethiopia went head to head last night in the AFCON Qualifiers at Moi International stadium.

Kenya put up some great performances in the game as it ended with three goals to nothing in favour of the Kenyan national squad.

According to the match highlight, the first goal for Kenya came at the 23rd minute from their striker, Michael Olunga – who plays in the Japanese league.

Michael Olunga scored the first goal for Kenya from the right flank following an excellent assist from Erick Omondi – who at the 28th minute added a second goal from the edge of the box for Kenya.

The Second half saw the third goal coming in at the 67th minute from Victor Wanyama following a foul on Erick Omondi in the penalty area.

Erick Omondi, who plays in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspurs was later seen leaving the pitch after what looked like a Hamstring injury.

Kenya are currently leading in Group F, which consist of Ethiopia, Ghana and Sierra Leone.

According to the records, Kenya have 7 points followed by Ethiopia with 4 points, while the duo of Ghana and Sierra Leone have 3 points each.

If Sierra Leone are finally banned from the tournament, Kenya will move to the next stage leaving Ethiopia and Ghana to battle for the second spot.
