Ahead of the Chelsea Vs Arsenal premier league clash this weekend, N’Golo Kante has warned his teammates at Chelsea to be very much prepared for gunners new striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Chelsea hosts their London rivals at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and the former Lyon striker is to play a key role for the visitors.
Lacazette made the move from Lyon this summer for a club-record fee of £52million following his superb performances in the Ligue 1 which drew lots of attention to him.
The France international is now showing his scoring touch for his new club with two goals in his first four games for Arsene Wenger’s side.
During the 3-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend, the Frenchman scored a superb goal from outside the area to help his side get all three points.
And Chelsea midfielder Kante believes Alexandre still has lots of things to show in the English top flight and expects his compatriot to be a threat for his own side during the London Derby on Sunday.
‘[Alexandre] is a very good goalscorer who scored for many years and he will be a threat for Sunday’s game.’ he said.
Kante’s side have made a better start to this new term than Lacazette’s new side. The defending champions are currently sitting third on the premier league table and will be going into the Sunday clash three points clear of Arsenal.
