Apart from Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho, another Liverpool player who has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer is German midfielder Emre Can.
Can has emerged as a target for Serie A champions Juventus this summer as the old ladies are set to replicate something close to what they showcased last season in the upcoming campaign.
And according to Italian sports daily Tuttosport, the Turin club will officially table a bid for Can this week.
It is understood that Juve have turned their attention to Can after Chelsea slapped a €50M tag on their primary target Nemanja Matic.
Emre is entering the final 12 months of his deal with Liverpool and it is yet to be known if he will sign a contract extension before his contract expire. However, there were some speculations that he is open to a move to Italy even though his manager Jurgen Klopp want him to remain at Anfield.
Although Klopp is said to remain hopeful that his countryman will sign a new deal with Liverpool soon, he is not yet sure of the future, and his response to the press is that until a new deal is signed, nothing is certain.
The old ladies are looking for a replacement for Sami Khedira after his successful two-year spell at Turin.
