Liverpool Boss Dismisses Possible January Signings
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the club won’t sign any players during the January transfer window.
The German tactician talked about the Reds’ plans for the upcoming transfer window in his latest interview ahead of the Premier League away clash with newly promoted side Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux on Friday night.
According to him, the club cannot get what they want in the January transfer market as he revealed that the Reds are in need of quality players to do a job within a short period of time.
Liverpool have been linked with several players just some days before the transfer window reopens.
Lorenzo Insigne, Timo Werner, Pascal Gross and many more have been touted as potential signings for the Merseyside giants.
Jurgen Klopp was asked questions about possible reinforcements especially with his team currently depleted at the back due to the injuries to centre-backs Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
Both players are expected to be out of action until at least the second week of next month meaning they will miss the festive fixtures starting with the Wolves game.
Klopp and Liverpool would be hoping to take the maximum points at stake when they take on the impressive Wolves outfit currently in 7th spot on the Premier League table.
