Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is not the happiest manager right now after his side were kicked out of the FA Cup by West Brom on Saturday. The German boss is not also happy with his boys for allowing their opponents turned a 1-0 lead into a 3-2 defeat before 90 minutes.
Roberto scored an early goal – taking advantage of a mistake from Jonny Evans, but the baggies scored two quick goals to get ahead.
Liverpool are now out of the FA Cup as far as this season is concerned, and it appears they are once again on the path of finishing the season without a trophy.
Liverpool’s defense was shaky at Anfield on Saturday that Klopp, while speaking after the game, couldn’t help but say ‘that is not how defending should be’.
And even his attackers couldn’t do much to make things right either (well, Roberto Firmino lost a penalty!)
This is the second loss in a row for Liverpool (and the first time they lost at Anfield since April), Klopp was visibly sad while speaking after the game.
“We have only ourselves to blame” the German boss said.
Up next for Klopp and his men is a crunch clash with Huddersfield Town in the premier league away from home on Tuesday, before hosting Tottenham Hotspur on the 4th of February at Anfield.
