According to Italian press, Premier League giants Manchester United are preparing a new move to bring in Ivan Perisic from Serie A side Inter Milan this summer transfer window.
Man United set to sign Croatian
Italian publication Calciomercato, as cited by The Daily Express, is claiming that United could be ready to reignite their transfer interest in the Croatian after having been strongly linked with a swoop for him last summer transfer window.
A swoop last year failed to happen as Manchester United ended up bringing in Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic.
As per the same report, Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho wants to push through a transfer for Perisic – and France international Anthony Martial could be included in a swap deal.
Winger reportedly wants United move
The same report also states that the winger himself is not completely ruling out the likelihood of a transfer to Old Trafford from the Italian side.
Perisic, 29, has netted 11 goals and created eight assists in 35 Italian Serie A matches for the club so far this campaign.
The Red Devils are likely to be heavily linked with a couple of players this summer transfer window as the Portuguese tactician looks to assemble a team capable of winning the League title next term.
