Iwobi has everything but just this – Koscielny

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is amazed at the bunch of talent his teammate, Alex Iwobi has but identifies something that should be worked upon.

Iwobi has continued to blossom in the current season under new manager, Unai Emery with every opportunity handed to him.

The Nigerian international found the back of the net in Arsenal’s 3-2 defeat against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

His performance at Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Vorskla Poltava in the Europa League on Thursday also caught the attention of the fans.

Koscielny is one of those who sang the praise of the young lad by admitting his potential in the Arsenal team.

Koscielny on his programme notes ahead of Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Everton said Iwobi must recognize and accept that he has abilities so as to help him exhibit them.

He said all other conditions including hard work in training and confidence has been fulfilled by the player for greatness. Hence he has no doubt of him.

However, he said Iwobi must be more efficient and clinical to score and assists more.

Iwobi was however, discovered and brought to limelight by former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who believed and sustained a youth development system at the Emirates Stadium.
