Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata has been talking about the differences between Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.
Talking to Spanish news publication AS whilst on Spain duty, as covered by popular media outlet FourFourTwo, the Spain international striker compared the two tacticians, and although he identified some differences, insisted that the major similarity is that both coaches have a winning mentality.
Despite this similarities though, the former Real Madrid forward believes that Italian Antonio Conte puts more emphasis on his tactical approach to matches, and spoke of how the former Juventus head coach aims to control matches more than French tactician Zidane does.
Alvaro Morata struggled for playing time under Real Madrid head coach Zidane at La Liga Champions Real Madrid, with France international striker Karim Benzema often named ahead of Morata in the pecking order at the Bernabeu.
However, Morata has been something of a talismanic player for reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea since joining the club his summer, and has a good relationship with current head coach Antonio Conte.
The striker is the Blues leading scorer at this early stage of the new league season, and has enjoyed a good start to life in the English Premier League.
