Juventus prepare for departure of Chelsea target Alex Sandro

Italian Serie A Champions Juventus seem to be preparing the side for the possible exit of Chelsea transfer target Alex Sandro.

As reported by the Mirror, the Turin giant are keeping close tabs on Bayer Leverkusen solid defender Wendell should the Brazilian leave.

The Old Lady of Italian football also have defender Leonardo Spinazzola due to come back from his season-long loan spell with Italian side Atalanta in the summer transfer window.

Premier League Champions Chelsea had been linked with Sandro, 26, over the summer window but were unable to seal a deal with the Serie A club.

Premier League heavyweight Manchester United joined the transfer race to bring the Brazil international defender to England with Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho looking around the market for a new full-back on the left flank.

It had been suggested that the left-back has made Juventus aware of his intent to complete a summer move to the English Premier League.

Any transfer deal to lure the in-demand full-back to the English top-flight might cost any interested suitors in the region of about £53 million.

Another Chelsea transfer target Alex Telles is seen as a rather cheaper option to the Brazilian but Antonio Conte is believed to be a big fan of the Juventus star.
