Tottenham Hotspurs could be without about eight players for the North London Derby on 18 November.
Harry Winks and England international forward Harry Kane have apparently pulled out from England’s upcoming friendly matches against World Champions Germany and Brazil with various injuries.
Both Tottenham stars were substituted off during their 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace last Weekend with Harry Kane battling a hamstring problem, which saw him miss the Manchester United clash, and Winks suffering an injury with his ankle.
Hugo Lloris is also fighting to be fully fit in time for the match at the Emirates Stadium after sustaining a groin injury against European Champions Real Madrid; Toby Alderweireld could also miss the clash after sustaining a hamstring problem in the UEFA Champions League; number 2 goalkeeper Michel Vorm missed the Crystal Palace game with a knee injury; Victor Wanyama is recuperating from knee ligament injury and Erik Lamela is also working on gaining full fitness after a season on the sidelines.
Therefore, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino could be without as much as eight players for the first North London derby of the season.
Arsenal and Arsene Wenger desperately need a good result after losing 3-1 to Manchester City last weekend. They’re currently placed sixth in the English Premier League and a win over Spurs could calm the pressure a little.
