Hugo Lloris Trying To Convince Arsenal Target Thomas Lemar Ahead Of Potential Move

France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has hinted that he is trying to convince teammate, Thomas Lemar about joining Tottenham Hotspur ahead of Arsenal this summer.

The 21-year-old has drawn interest from several clubs in Europe following his performances with AS Monaco last season, netting 14 goals and 14 assists to help them to a cruising campaign.

Lloris who happens to be captain for both club and country has now revealed he has been trying to convince Lemar to move to the White Hart Lane this summer, following reports that Spurs are also interested in signing the winger.

When asked about the chances of Lemar moving to Spurs, Lloris said: ‘You are right to ask the question, but I cannot reply,’

‘The Premier League is very exciting. All the Premier League clubs have the capacity and the ability to bring the best players in the world.

Although, it is believed that Arsene Wenger is a keen admirer of Thomas Lemar’s qualities and has started moves that will see him arrive at the Emirates this summer.

There are reports that the Gunners views Lemar as an ideal replacement for Alexis Sanchez who is poised on leaving the club to join either Manchester City or Bayern Munich this summer.
