How Arsenal Will Line With Steven N’Zonzi

In all fairness, Arsene Wenger does not necessarily need to bring in a new midfielder this January as he has a handful of talented guys already – but it appears he will do just that.

There were reports the North London club have agreed to pay Sevilla €40 Million for the signature of their talented player Steven N’Zonzi

The Frenchman has been impressive at the club since he joined them two years ago, and his impressive performances have caught the attention of the North Londoners.

Steven made his senior international debut for France recently, and a big question on the lips of everyone is: How will the 28-year-old feature in Arsene Wenger’s starting XI?

Wenger has two nice defensive midfielders already in his team – Granit Xhaka and Francis Coquelin, but Xhaka is obviously the preferred one.

But if Arsenal should pay a whopping €40M to sign N’Zonzi, then we should expect him to become a first-team player and replace Xhaka in Wenger’s starting XI.

With Arsenal managing to hold on to the duo of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil next year, here is how their starting XI could be if Steven should move to the Emirates Stadium:

GK – Cech
DC – Monreal
DC – Koscielny
DC – Mustafi
ML – Kolasinac
MC – N’Zonzi
MC – Ramsey
MR – Bellerin
AC – Alexis
AC – Ozil
FC – Lacazette
