After displaying signs of massive potential before his arrival at North London club Arsenal some seasons ago, forward Joel Campbell has become a forgotten player at the Emirates Stadium.
Loan material
The Costa Rica international striker has often displayed his quality for his Country but has not been able to establish himself as a key member of manager Arsene Wenger’s first-team lineup at Arsenal.
Joel Campbell has been loaned across Europe on several occasions and it looks like he is looking to leave the team for good when the summer window comes around.
The 25-year-old striker has been talking about his future with popular Radio Marca Sevilla in the La Liga, as noted by talkSPORT, and disclosed that he plans to remain at Real Betis for several years to come.
He said his idea is to remain at the club for many more years but admitted those decisions are not his.
Pondering future
The highly-rated forward is seemingly loving life under the tutelage of Quique Setien with Real Betis, with the side establishing themselves as one of La Liga’s most attractive teams despite their inconsistencies.
The Gunners signed Joel Campbell back in 2011 but it looks like he will now finally sign a permanent transfer away from the Emirates Stadium after an unsettling spell.
