Manchester United have intended that the clubs have intentions to approach investors for deals that will attract financial advantage to be able to compete in subsequent transfer windows.
Explaining how the club wishes to go about this, the executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward noted that a major selling point for the club will be the 2-1 victory over Juventus at Turin in the Champions League.
Following the crisis that almost cost manager Jose Mourinho is job at the club as a result of the bad results, things have turned around with the Old Trafford side doing the unthinkable to have gone for revenge against the Italian champions.
All odds were against United with the insinuation that they are a struggling team and having lost at home to Juventus in the first leg but they came out with surprises to produce their best results so far this season.
However, reports claim that Woodward is expected to hold talks with the club investors on the New York Stock Exchange next Thursday adding that he will make reference to the club’s big win to be able to convince the investors for better deals.
However, the Jose Mourinho side are looking good at the moment and they are expected to produce same shock when they play the Manchester derby at the weekend.
