Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso shunned reports linking him to a return to Real Madrid as his contract at the Stamford Bridge runs to an end.
Alosno was on the radar of the Spanish giants and the speculations that they are back for his services has surfaced.
In his reaction, he made it clear that he wants to remain at the West London and will not consider any offer available for him.
He noted that he has two years to the end of his career, yet there is a new deal for him by club to have him extend his stay.
Alonso said he expects a new deal to be sealed with the Blues at the end of this month with his father in charge of the negotiation.
The former Fiorentina player joined Chelsea in the summer of 2016 with a fee of about £24million.
He had a good blend and was favoured under the reigns of former manager Antonio Conte. That has not changed under new manager Maurizio Sarri who has introduced a possession football.
Alonso’s style of play has fit into the attack conscious football different from what was previously obtainable at the club.
However, Chelsea have excelled so far this season and they are currently 3rd on the log.
