Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard has been named on the eight-man list of nominees for the Goal of the Month Award for April in the Premier League.
The Belgian international was nominated for his solo strike against fellow London club West Ham United.
Hazard scored two goals during the West Ham game either side of the halftime interval to hand the Blues a 2-0 win over their London opponents.
He was nominated for the Best Goal Award alongside seven others.
The other nominees on the list are Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Dan Gosling (Bournemouth), Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur), Nathaniel Mendez-Laing ((Cardiff City), Ryan Babel (Fulham), Will Hughes (Watford) and Gonzalo Higuain (Chelsea).
Chelsea teammate Higuain also made the shortlist alongside Eden Hazard for his goal against Burnley.
Higuain scored his fourth Chelsea goal since his move to the club vs the Clarets as both sides settled for a 2-2 draw in their Premier League clash played towards the end of last month.
Eden Hazard has been the standout player for Chelsea this season but it’s not certain that he will stay at the club with one year left on his current deal with the Blues amidst strong interest from Spanish club Real Madrid.
He has scored 16 goals and also provided 13 assists in the Premier League this season.
