Former Manchester United star player Gary Neville has compared undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather to United’s current manager Jose Mourinho.
The Man United legend believes the Portuguese tactician, just like Floyd, brings fear into the hearts of other managers in the premier league.
Manchester United played Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday after clashing with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Anfield the previous weekend.
The Portuguese boss was able to get a draw at Anfield and earned all three points against Mauricio Pochettino’s side at Old Trafford, and many Man United fans admit how good it was.
And Gary believes the former Inter Milan manager gets into the heads of his rivals in the premier league.
Floyd Mayweather is a boxer known for his counter strike and Gary thinks Jose is similar to the boxer.
Speaking to Sky Sports (via Goal) recently about his former side, the former defender said Mourinho is at Old Trafford to win the premier league trophy for the club, and, according to him, he [Mourinho] ‘got to win the league’.
Gary said Floyd is a boxer who uses defence as attack – which allows his opponents punch themselves out, and that Mourinho is a manager who uses same tactics that was able to spoil the plans of both Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino in his recent premier league games.
Jose will lead his men to Stamford Bridge on Sunday for his next premier league game against his former club.
