Chelsea And Man United Target Failed Medical Test With Italian Heavyweights

According to new reports coming from Italy, Chelsea and Manchester United target Franck Kessie has failed the first phase of his medical with Serie A heavyweights, AC Milan.

According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, the midfielder will need to be examined further before the Milan club can make any other decision whatsoever.

It is not yet sure if AC Milan will pursue a deal for the Atalanta player, or simply drop off everything.

It was said that the Milan club have agreed on a €28 million deal to sign Franck and he arrived the Milan capital for his medical with the club this morning.

The midfielder has enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Italian top flight and has caught the attention of the Premier League duo of Chelsea and Manchester United.

Even though AS Roma was also said to be interested in signing the youngster, it now appears that AC Milan have beat everyone to get him.

As things stand now, what caused the player to fail the medical and how it may affect the deal is not yet known.

However, it is very much likely that the deal will be abandon, which should determine the next step both Chelsea and Manchester United would take.
