There are suggestions that Arsenal forward and England international Danny Welbeck will be leaving the English Premier League elsewhere.

It is already claimed that Italian Serie A outfit Lazio are keen to land the signature of the Arsenal forward as he would be a free player after the Europa League finals against Chelsea later in the week.

Arsenal chief Raul had revealed that he held talks with the former Man United forward last year for a new contract but the player did not want to stay, as he seeks to land a bossman deal away from the club.

However, a number of interests are lined up for the signature of the England international but the interest from Lazio remains a more realistic one as they are monitoring his situation with a prepared bid to land him.

It has been revealed that Danny Welbeck seeks to return back to the England national team and that will play a role in his choice of a destination, knowing that he will require regular playing time to be able to achieve that.

Danny Welbeck’s spell at the Emirates Stadium was bedeviled by the series of injuries he had which left him out for the most part of his stay.
