“Forget this 34-goal striker” – Jose Mourinho receives MAJOR transfer advice but fans will disagree

Liverpool legend Steve Nicol believes Premier League giants Manchester United won’t land Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic.

Man United keen on World class striker
The Croatian international striker has been mentioned as a possible option to strengthen manager Jose Mourinho’s options in attack.

The experienced forward scored 10 times in 38 matches across all competitions in the recently concluded 2017-18 season at Serie A side Juventus.

However, the striker could not hold down a regular shirt at the Italian side.

Top quality forward
Mandzukic scored 34 goals in 127 matches across all competitions in the last three terms since his switch from La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

The forward spent previous campaigns at German side Bayern Munich as well as Wolfsburg after leaving home country Croatia in 2010.

Ex-Liverpool defender Nicol does not expect premier league giants Manchester United to land Mandzukic in the present transfer window.

Attacking reinforcement required
The former premier league giant Manchester United concluded in second position in the English Premier League log last season to secure a UEFA Champions League place for the second season successively.

The Jose Mourinho tutored side lost 1-0 to Premier League giants Chelsea in the Emirates FA Cup final last month at Wembley Stadium following Belgium playmaker Eden Hazard’s winning goal from the spot.
