It is no longer news that Arsenal will be actively involved in the coming summer window as they are keen on adding more strength to the team ahead of next season.
The Gunners boss Unai Emery had given the hint that the fans should expect some additions in the summer window when he made it clear that there would be no major deals in the last winter transfer window.
However, Arsenal parted ways with their head of recruitment Sven Mislintat last month and they are reportedly ready to bring in Marc Overmars who has given the hint of the player he would sign at if he moves away from Ajaz.
The North London outfit have been linked with a number of names with AS Roma sporting director Monchi also linked but there are indications that Marc Overmars could be in line for the job after his major hint.
However, he stated that he would immediately sign Matthijs de Ligt once he leaves Ajax to work with a new club.
He stressed that Matthijs de Ligt can play comfortably in any of the six big teams in the World because of his quality, his power, mentality and heart which is all it takes to succeed at the top level.
