Antonio Conte is currently having a tough time at Chelsea, and his future at Stamford Bridge is looking bleak.
And according to reports, the management at Stamford Bridge believes Conte’s issues with former manager Jose Mourinho is one of the causes of their current predicaments.
The Italian manager has endured a difficult spell this term so far, losing 3-0 to Bournemouth last Wednesday in the premier league, after crashing out of the League Cup when they lost to Arsenal in the semi-final.
Conte and former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho have not been best of friends this term. The two tacticians keep exchanging unpleasant words, with the Manchester United manager accusing Antonio of match fixing (the Italian boss has been cleared of this).
And now, there are reports that some officials at Chelsea think Jose’s statements are getting under Antonio’s skin, which is having a negative effect on his productivity.
It was also added that Chelsea top chief Mr Roman Abramovich wants the Italian to end his issues with Mourinho so he can concentrate fully on his job.
The former Juventus boss is set to lead his Chelsea party to Vicarage Road on Monday to clash with Watford for their next premier league duty.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United won Huddersfield 2-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday, and they are still sitting on the second spot of the premier league table.
