Man Utd Complete Transfer Of Rocco Fregapane
According to latest confirmed reports, premier league heavyweights Manchester United have completed the signing of Huddersfield star player Rocco Fregapane.
There were reports that Man United brought in five Huddersfield academy youngsters at the end of September after making them pass through trials and featuring them in friendlies behind closed doors
The Old Trafford club lost to Huddersfield last Saturday in the premier league, and Fregapane’s dad made it known after the game that his son was among the starlets signed by Manchester United.
Sam Fregapane, writing on his Facebook page, give kudos to the England Under-15 defender who, according to him, signed for Manchester United today and is off on England duty next week.
‘We are so proud of you.’ Sam told his son on social media.
The Manchester club poached the five players after Huddersfield’s chief Dean Hoyle announced a full overhaul of their academy.
Speaking of the situation, the chairman said the club’s academy system must provide a formidable and certain pathway to the first-team for young talents who are good enough.
He added that the decision to allow the five starlets moved to Old Trafford is the biggest they have undertaken in his time as the chairman of Huddersfield, and, according to him, it is not an easy one.
